...and just to finish the weekend off nicely...when we arrived home we found a frozen water pipe and no water. We spent the next 5 hours replacing bad heat tape and warming pipes.
Try making a teepee over the water pipe with a tarp and then using a turbo heater to warm everything up...it worked!! The good news is that we have water!!!! You really appreciate running water after melting snow to flush the toilets and wash hands...

Adapted from Miss Fannie's Hats
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Miss Sylvie has lots of hats. And each one is her favorite.
The pink and white checkered hat came from her big sister Tovala. Whenever she wears it her brothers and sisters always say, “Miss Sylvie, we just love that hat”.
When she wears her purple knitted hat with beads, she thinks of her Auntie Merry from
Her white crocheted hat was made by her Grandma Judy who made it for her sister, Hannah, when she was little. Now all of Miss Sylvie’s sisters have worn it.
When she wears her soft pink hat with the butterfly, she thinks of Auntie Wendy who gave it to her when she was born. When Miss Sylvie wears this hat everyone always says, “We just love that hat”!
And when she wears her pink bonnet with lace, she thinks of her cousin Madeline who made it for her. And everyone always says, “Miss Sylvie, We just love that bonnet”!
Miss Sylvie’s Momma gives her baths and does her hair, which is all nice and soft, and then Momma helps Miss Sylvia pick out a hat to wear.
Miss Sylvie is three and a half months old and growing rapidly. In fact, she is bigger than any of her brothers or sisters were when they were her age. Miss Sylvie lives with her Daddy and Momma and 11 of her 13 brothers and sisters.
Miss Sylvia has five pink hats, two purple hats, one green hat, one white hat and one flowery hat. Because she never wears the same one twice in a row, some people think she has a whole drawer full of hats, which, of course, she does.
