26 Years...

Yesterday was Dad and Mom's 26th Anniversary!!!

For their Anniversary, Dad and Mom went to Grand Marais for a couple of days... Asher wanted to go too.

They stayed at a hotel on the lake....and had a lot of fun together.

Sylvia got to join them... :)

Today was Memorial Day...

We all had a wonderful day at Grandpa's and Grandma's!!!!

We went paddle boating, canoeing...

Caught turtles...

played ultimate frisbee...

ping pong... (just so you all know- Eli is the current champ...)

we ate lots of great food!!! Asher and Tovala really enjoyed the Popsicles!!

and this is me....I just got a new SLR Digital Camera - I have never had sooo much fun taking pictures! :) -you might notice a slight increase in the posting... :) in the past three days, since I bought my camera I have only taken about 500 pictures. :):)

Thank you to all of the men and women who have served for us in war...we are very blessed to be here, safe and protected.

Tovala enjoyed the swinging...

Unfortunately, my team lost....but it was still fun!

Happy Birthday Hannah!!!!!

Yesterday was Hannah's 19th birthday! It was a fun day! Nathan, Eli and I took her with some friends up to Duluth. It was cold and windy for most of the day, but we had a lot of fun!

Despite the cool weather, it was beautiful!

We ate at Grandma's and no we were not late... :)

Happy 12th Birthday Noah!!

Today was Noah's birthday and it was a fun day!!! This morning we had baked apple donuts and then he went with Grandpa to do some shopping, and this evening, despite the rain we roasted hot dogs over the fire and also enjoyed some Strawberry Chocolate Ice Cream Cake. It was a great day!

We have been noticing the similarities in our eyes and decided to have a contest....I am curious to see how many people can get it perfect. If you click on the picture it will get larger... to get a better look... I was going to do color so that you could see 32 brown eyes, but I like black and white better. ;)

She's Kinda Sweet!!!

Sylvia is getting big!!! I am sorry Grandpa...you waited too long to give Sylvia her first bite of ice cream. This evening when we had Rhubarb Pie and Ice Cream, she was sitting on my lap and I gave her a bite. :) I think she liked it...

She loves to pull herself up and as long as she has someones hand she likes to stand...It's very seldom that she gets upset, although when Mom would not let her have the carrot she had(I think) her first temper tantrum. -it only lasted about 15 seconds... :) :)

They Caught a Fish!!!

Actually they caught two...Eli caught the Sucker with his bare hands...

and Noah caught a big Carp. Neither of them sounded to good for eating, but I think the fishing was fun! :)

Track and Field Day...

Today was Track and Field Day at the school nearby ... It sounded like it was a lot of fun!!!
From the looks of the pictures, I think Joel must have jumped pretty far. :)

Another Picnic!!!

I am sorry for the lack of updates...I have been trying finish up my school (you probably can not tell...with all of the picnics and going to the farm and everything else...:)) We are all very ready to be done with school! Anyways, we went for another picnic today! I am pretty sure that it was a science picnic, because we learned all about the different kinds of pine trees and identified most of them... :)

After the picnic we built a dam in the stream and the water was very cold - but it felt good!!! Today felt like it should be a day in July or August, it was very very warm.

The river is beautiful!!!

Our Yard...

I guess you can't really call this the yard....Oh well, anyways the city is putting in a new walking path down by the river in front of our house. For now the tractors are providing very nice entertainment for the kids!! :)
