Happy Birthday Eli!!!

Tuesday was Eli's 16th birthday!! We went all out and bought him Toilet Paper...
and a few other things, but we thought he should have toilet paper for our Glacier trip next week! :) I am sure he really appreciated it!

By the way, watch out he will be getting his driver's license soon(beginning of October)...so be ready for the "get off the road" alert.

Birthday Party for a Friend...

A couple nights ago Hannah, a few friends and I did a birthday party for a friend of ours... Happy Birthday Jessica! :)

Hannah and I matched so nicely...we had to take a picture... :)
btw, we didn't to it on purpose...I think it is just a sister thing!

A Visit to Virginia...

Last weekend Dad, Mom and Sylvia flew out to see Abram and Aaron....

They had steaks one night together...

And they met Mrs. Carden and saw Jennifer...

Abram and Aaron helped Sylvia practice her walking, she is doing very well! She can walk from the front door(of our house) to the pantry!!!

I am pretty sure she misses you both, Abram and Aaron! :)

They had a great time in Virginia and we are all looking forward to your next visit home!!

An American Girl Doll Party...

Talia was invited to go to an American girl doll party....they had a lot of fun! All the girls read a play from the Samantha story. Talia enjoyed it very much!

Last Friday Hannah and I took the kids to the farm... we played Capture the Flag and ate a watermelon.

and walked in the field... It was a fun afternoon!

Hannah put some chili and donuts together and we took them into the park for dinner.

Day 1 Without Dad, Mom, and Sylvia...

Today was a good day!!! Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit. We did some school... and then for dinner we had corn on the cob...

Asher helped!!!

Sweet corn from Grandpa and Grandma, tomatoes from the neighbor across the street, and some turnovers...

Asher and I made tissue paper flowers...

When we opened up the umbrella there was a bat...





and a big frog!!! I think he probably had enough play from Seth, Behn and Asher...

Family Reunion...

Yesterday was our 57th Annual Olmstead Family Reunion!!! That is a lot of family reunions, wow! :)

After the potluck, we played games, went on walks, talked and had a Piñata!!!

Talia hit the Piñata!!! :)

and Behn did too!!!!! (and all the other little people!)

and then it broke open!!!!

and they all got lots of candy and toys!

After the family reunion, on the way home, Nathan, Hannah, Eli, Joel and I stopped at Cabelas...

and tried on hats! :)

and... I got a rain jacket and Nathan got some other stuff for our Glacier trip!!!! :)

On the way home we stopped at Uncle Mike's house and helped them pick up all of their trees that blew down in the storm... It was fun to see them! :)

Yay for Sylvia!!!!

At 10 months, Sylvie is walking!!!! She took 10 consecutive steps...however, she does not seem to like it very much. :( She gets upset when someone tries to have her stand/walk.

Happy Belated Birthday To My Wonderful Mother!!!!

Last Saturday was Mom’s Birthday!!! I was not here, but I heard that it was a very nice day! Hannah and everyone else got up and made a tasty breakfast…

and Seth made some very good lemon Ice Cream and Cherry Ice Cream!

Happy Birthday Mom!!! We love you very much – you are the most amazing Mom in the World!!!!

Picnic At The Farm

After Dad and Mom left for their date this morning, I packed
a picnic and brought everyone younger then me (minus Yetta &
Sylvia) to the farm.

It was a beautiful day...the hollyhocks by the
house were gorgeous! Asher and Tovala took their naps under the
tree. (Although, Tovala didn't sleep...and it took me laying next to Asher massaging his head before he could finally fall asleep. :) )
We played soccer, read stories, filled the horses water tank, hiked back to the woods...and enjoyed the afternoon.

After the farm...we went to Walmart and picked up supplies for Mom's birthday breakfast and for Seth to make ice cream...and now everyone is tucked into bed...some are gone at a movie...and Mom and Dad will be home soon. :)

P.S Yetta is getting home tomorrow...we have all missed her lots!

last minute. We had a great walk...we even
saw a tree that had leaves beginning to turn color!
My favorite season of the year is almost here!

Tovala and Asher went with Daddy to go visit Nana at the
hospital...we are all looking forward to when she gets better
and can come home again!
