Happy Thanksgiving!!
We had a great day!!! -Lots of food, lots of family(missing some family too :()....

It was nice to see Grandpa Neal and Grandma Judy!!

All of the food was really good!! It did feel a little weird to do all of that cooking together without Hannah! We missed you and hope your Thanksgiving meal went well(or as well as it could have without a well and water...)! :)

Some people played Monopoly and a few people played Apples to Apples and others visited...

and some of us went on a walk!!

We had a great day, but we missed you Abram, Aaron(and Jennifer), and Hannah!!! I can't wait until you are all home!

And Nails, of course!!!
Last night we had to do the girls nails!!!

Sylvie wasn't too thrilled about having to sit so still to have her nails painted, but she liked it after it was done! :)

More Preparations...
Yesterday was, again, very cold!!! It snowed for a long time and it was beautiful!

After getting most of the Thanksgiving meal ready for today, we decided that we needed to get outside for a walk!!!

The whole time that I carried Sylvia she kept saying "daw", "daw" - she was quite sure that she should be on the ground with the rest of the kids running all around!

and Talia Joy - silly girl - is learning that when it is this cold she probably should wear some stockings under her skirt!!!! brrr...

Yesterday Noah, Seth and Behn peeled all of the potatoes for mashed potatoes - I think I heard them say that they did 60 or so potatoes!! Mom and Eli made Swiss Butter Horns, they were very good! Noah made three pumpkin pies! We made twenty big apple dumplings!
and lots more food...cranberry relish, rolls, 47lbs of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, lettuce salad, jello, lots of pickles and olives, and everything else that a Thanksgiving meal should have...

Decorating...
Last Saturday we pulled out all of the Thanksgiving decorations and the Christmas lights from the storage room - it was a little temping to get some of those Christmas decorations out also...but it is Thanksgiving first! :)

After a lot of tinkering with the very aggravating lights we managed to get most of them working again! YAY!

Eli and I hung the Christmas lights!

and when we were done... I thought it looked very nice and festive!

probably more so, when it is dark and all the lights are all lit up...

Evening with the Wilsons....
Well, I think I have slacked a little in my posting job...nearly two weeks without a post -I am sorry!

Last Friday we had the Wilsons over for dinner, it was nice to catch up!! We went for a hike in the cold, cold park which was very nice! :)
