Sundays...
Today was a very nice day... relaxing, and very enjoyable! We went to church this morning... and then came home and had some company for lunch.

Here is a picture of their adorable little boy, Boaz!

After they left we just hung out... the kids played outside for a while...

Then they came in and played...

Eli decided to make some fire starters... he is in the process of carving a bird, so he has lots of wood carvings/chips that he used.

He has decided that they are rather time consuming to make... but they do look kind of cool! :)

Our snow is melting! YAY!!! But, we are suppose to get 6 inches tonight. :( I am really hoping that this is one of those times that the weatherman is wrong!

Dad and Mom talked to Nathan for a while! :)

Hannah did a very important job!!! She ran to Walmart (with Joel and Seth) and got Ice Cream for milk shakes! They were very tasty!

I think I scared Joel away... because I was having fun taking pictures of everyone! :)

After dinner we played Buzz Word, it is a fun game! I was on Dad's team... Yay! We won!

After our game Hannah and I took our walk to Taylors falls and back... We always walk across the bridge, touch the Minnesota sign and then walk back across the bridge and come home. It is a very nice walk!

I don't think I have posted a picture of our little town before(at least not for a long time). So here it is... :)

This is a new restaurant(well, sort of new... it has been here for about a month and a half - I just have not visited yet).

After our walk we sat in the living room and talked...

and now(while posting) I am doing some homework before class tomorrow morning! :)

It was a very lovely day... I think there should be a couple more Sundays each week, they are so relaxing!

Mississippi. . .
Last weekend Grandpa Don and Grandma Polly visited Nathan in Mississippi on their way home from Florida... this is a picture that we got from them and I thought it was a very nice picture, so I scanned it into the computer! :)

Nathan, you sure are looking good! So trim and handsome... :) :)

I miss you.
(and am trying to think of some way to come and visit you when you are in Germany...) ;)

Happy Easter!
"The angel said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead'. . . Suddenly Jesus met them. 'Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.'"

Today was a very nice day! We went to church this morning. . . had a great service! Then we came home and prepared for our guests!

-------

Happy Easter Everyone!!! We hope you had a wonderful day - we certainly did! Lots of family, friends, food, fellowship, and best of all the knowledge of Christ's resurrection!

There were 39 of us, and we were missing a few too!!!! Nathan, Abram, Aaron and Jennifer, we wish you all could have been here with us!
It was a great group.

The food was delicious!

There were three large tables full of people!! So fun!

everyone enjoyed the tasty food!

We invited the family that Hannah works for...

This is Ava... we enjoyed getting to know them!

Thanks to Aunt Janice, there was an Easter Egg hunt for all the little ones!

Lots of eggs!

and lots of little ones!

For the rest of us... Mom and Dad planned a scavenger hunt. There were four teams and through our clues we came to the treasure: supplies for smores! So Dad built a fire and we all had smores around the fire.

Three beautiful cousins...

Four more cousins...

and more cousins!

Mikalah and Elsie, reading to Asher. . .

It was a great Easter! Always so good to see family!

He has risen indeed!

Easter Preparations...
Hannah, along with some help, set all of the tables beautifully!

We had so much wonderful food!

Many of our guests brought the very pretty flowers to decorate the tables!

This is me about three minutes before we went out the door to church trying to get the bread ready to rise... I was slightly rushed. Apparently we spent too long getting the little girls ready. :)

Easter Girls...
The dresses worked... only problem was that the dresses are sleeveless and it was snowing when we got up! :)

Never the less, we had fun getting the little girls all ready for church!

They were pretty cute!

And it turned out to be a beautiful day! The sun was shining and it was relatively warm!
(not warm enough for the girls to be without sweaters!)

Tovala was a little cold!

they looked pretty with all the snow! :)

Sylvia seems to really like those silly sun glasses!

Talia was adorable, as were they all!

such a nice little girl!

We had a lot of fun getting the girls ready, with the dresses and the hair... :)
The boys did not get nearly as much attention...

Snow, Easter Preparations, and Eggs... What is Easter in Wisconsin without snow? Well, we have plenty of it for ours! In the past couple days we have had lots of snow.

Even though I am ready for green grass, and buds on the trees, the snow is very beautiful!

Easter Bunny:
This morning we saw the Easter Bunny walking down the street, so Hannah took some of the kids out to see him!

Asher was pretty excited; he got a piece of candy from "Mr. Bunny"(as he says). :)

Easter eggs:
This evening, before bed, we colored eggs! It was lots of fun!

I think Tovala really enjoyed herself!

So did Asher...

and we have a very nice basket of Easter eggs! :)

Sylvia's New Look...
Well, Sylvia has come with her new "cool look"! :) The straw really completes it nicely! ;)
Even with this lovely outfit she would love to put on her new dress... I am sure it would look very nice all together! :)

New Dresses...
A couple of weeks ago Hannah went and picked up some fun fabric to make the three little girl's Easter Dresses... So, this past week we have been doing some sewing. :) Here are the finished products!!! :)

A couple of weeks ago Hannah went and picked up some fun fabric to make the three little girl's Easter Dresses... So, this past week we have been doing some sewing. :)
I get to make Sylvia's dress and it is pretty fun because she is so excited!

Hannah just finished Tovala's dress this evening. It looks adorable!

Mom and Talia are working together on hers.

They are done now, but this is in the works! :)

I finished Sylvia's last night. She got to try it on this morning! It was very cute because she would run to show Daddy and then she would run and look in the mirror. She kept saying "pretty", "pretty"!! She also really likes the fact that Talia and Tovala each have one too!

When I do an "Easter Post" you can see all three girls in their new dresses! :) :)

First Picnic of the Year...
Well, I was just finishing cleaning with Eli when Hannah called and asked if I wanted to go on a picnic... and if I would hurry home with the vehicle. So we came home and all piled into the van and went on a picnic.

One of our guests... :)

We headed up Horizon Rock Trail toward the "cabin".

Hannah had packed bread, peanut butter and apple butter for our picnic.

Eli started a fire, so we could warm up if we got too chilly. :)

The peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were very tasty! :)

and we had oranges and cookies!

Asher, with some left over peanut butter on his cute face...

and Talia Joy. She just keeps getting taller, you can't tell in this picture but I think she must have put on a couple of inches this past winter!

The boys brought a frisbee, so of course there was lots of running around and climbing around! :)

There is our little "cabin"!

and on the way home we got a car wash... well, I am not sure if we came out cleaner or dirtier actually. All the snow is melting, so there are huge puddles everywhere! :) Time for rubber boots!!!

We had a fun time!

It's Starting to Feel a lot like Spring!!!
On Sunday, since we all felt tolerably well, we(as in Hannah, Eli, Joel, Noah, Seth and I) went into Stillwater. Hannah, Eli and Joel needed some jeans and the rest of us needed fresh air! :)

So after stopping at Kohls, we walked in Stillwater.

It was a beautiful afternoon. The snow was melting and it felt like Spring is coming after all.

very nice...

Tuesday:
Today, is the first day, after 38 days, without anyone having a fever!!!! There are still a few lingering coughs, but we are definitely through it.

Asher decided to wash the windows since it is so beautiful and warm!

Asher had fun, but it was a good thing that he had Joel's help!

and Sylvia was just happy to be out! She enjoyed stepping in the puddles with her rubber boots and watching the kids try to clear the patio of snow.

We are very happy to be feeling so well! :) There is nothing like being healthy!

Good Cheer From The Thomson Family

Today, we received a box of full of fun in the mail!

Sylvia moved from lap to lap as various hands held the gifts being unwrapped

They brought a smile to Asher's face

...and Lala is smiling! I love smiles! :):)

Yes, I get Sylvia now...she moved onto my lap just in time to help me! :)

Thanks Uncle Rod, Auntie Kim, Byron, Colin, Nina, Evan, Benjamin, Ethan, and Andrew! What a fun box of "Get well goodies"! It made for a fun Friday evening! You guys are all so thoughtful! We love and miss you!

Many Thanks. . .

Where do we start? How do we say thank you to so many wonderful people?
To our church: a big thank you for many prayers and beautiful flowers. To our extended family: a big thank you for all your prayers, calls and encouragements. To our friends: a big thank you for prayers, calls, oranges and grapes(thank you Mrs. Sutton!) and a wonderful meal. . .

On Thursday night, some very thoughtful friends of ours brought us a delicious dinner. It was a huge blessing, being that Dad had just come home from the hospital.

and cookies!!! Asher made sure they were good right away! :) :) Thank you very much Mrs. Naegelen and Mrs. Koski!

So, yes we are still in the process of getting over our second contiguous virus (the second being much worse than the first). Asher came down with a fever today. . . only two more people in the house to get it (although we are hoping that Hannah and Behn can just skip it) and than we should be done. As you can see Sylvia is keeping him company. :)

This afternoon, Sylvia, Hannah, Talia and I went for a walk. . . it was so beautiful out!

I could not help but take a picture of the little sweetie...

To finish off the very relaxing day (there is definitely a lot of sleeping going on!) we read some very encouraging verses together. ~Thank you Aunt Kim and family for the references!
