starting the holidays off with thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had such a nice relaxing Thanksgiving! After spending Wednesday and Thursday morning cooking and preparing, my grandparents came and spent the afternoon with us! Mom did the majority of the cooking, but we all did some! Dad did the turkey(of course), Hannah made the green bean casserole and cranberry relish, I made the bread, Eli and Joel have been hunting - both have gotten a deer!, Noah, Seth, Talia and Behn peeled all of the potatoes... and everyone pretty much helped with everything! :)

And everything was really good!!! :)

the pies were good tooo!!! Apple pie, pecan pie, pumpkin pie....

On Wednesday Hannah, Noah and Talia worked on decorating! They made a very pretty wreath and put up lots of lights. -notice Talia's pretty scarf! She made it all in one day with yarn that Hannah and I got her for her birthday!!!!

Sylvia and Mom! :)

"Where are Nathan, Abram, Aaron and Jennifer? and why aren't they here on Thanksgiving?"
We missed you all! Nathan, I hope you are having a great weekend in Poland/Russia! Abram, Aaron and Jennifer, we hope you had a great Thanksgiving celebration in VA! :)

Sylvia has been pretty cute recently... she loves the doll house! On Wednesday she spent a couple of hours playing...

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

a little recap.

Hello! I am sorry to all of you who have missed seeing pictures. :( A couple weeks ago my lens decided to quit automatically focusing, so I sent it in for repairs... I miss it!!!! These are a couple of pictures that I have managed to get despite the fact that I don't have my lens. I think it should have it back soon!

Last week Dad had his 35th birthday (I think...well, maybe I forgot. ;))... anyways, a late Happy Birthday to him!

For Dad's birthday we made Sopapillas!! They were really good!! ...a fun memory of our lunch at the Carden's in Texas!

and two weeks ago, Tovala turned 6! Happy (very late) Birthday Lala!

It has snowed several times now... even though this picture does not show it, the river has frozen over. Winter is coming!

Since we got home from TX, we have stayed pretty busy with school, work, a little more school and a whole lot of granola bar making!!! Some friends are starting up a granola bar business and until they get the machinery needed, they are making it all by hand - which is a huge job! So, we have been helping them out. I think everyone has really enjoyed the process and learned a lot! Hopefully I will get my camera back soon, so you can enjoy some pictures of us all in lovely hairnets and aprons.... ;)
