Last week Joel got his permit! I have not driven with him as of yet, but I have heard that he is already a pretty good driver... so no "beware" needed. ;)

recycled crayons...

This afternoon Behn, Tovala and I took all of our old broken and used up crayons and made new crayons!! It was fun!

dancing the night away....

For the past month Mom has been planning a Valentines dance for the TLC center (a crisis pregnancy center).... So on Sunday evening everyone went dancing!! It was Jane Austin style dancing, it looked like a lot of fun!  I didn't get there until the end, because I was babysitting all weekend.

Everyone was dressed up in pretty dresses!! It was a great evening and the TLC board wants to do it again next year!

valentines day.

Happy (very late) Valentines Day!! I missed Valentines day with the family, but I know that there were valentines bowls (for the girls) and Sweethearts, Roses and Heart shaped pancakes!  

By the time I got to take pictures, the roses were a little sad... but they are still very pretty!

Since my rose was sitting on my desk, I had a lot of fun taking several pictures of it!!!

The Golden Day...

Yesterday he had his Golden Birthday!!

12 years old! I can't believe it... I still remember Dad waking us all up at 11:00 one night, 12 years ago, telling us that Seth was born... He was born before the midwife got there.  They say it was one of the easiest - which makes Seth happy! :D 

Seth had a fun day... he got a paper making kit for his birthday, so he made several sheets of very nice paper! 

I am pretty sure he trying to decide whether or not to eat his chocolate milkshake or not... it was a hard decision!

On Friday, I had a birthday. It was a nice day - I was very blessed by everyone with thoughtful gifts! Hannah added to my Children's book collection... I love children's picture books! :)

In the evening we went out skiing and spent the night out... it was a great evening, I didn't need my jacket until about half way through the night!

Sylvia loves to dress up...

Nearly every day she will come out with a new outfit... but she always has to have her shoes!
