I love Fridays.

I got to spend the day with the kids today... Dad and Mom spent the day together.  It was fun to have a chance to play with the little kids. It has been so busy lately that Hannah, Eli, Joel, Dad and I have been working all day every day.

While I was watching Sylvia play outside, I decided to grab my camera for some fun pictures...

She is a great hula hooper... she holds it up and turns around 3 times as it falls to the ground! So cute!

playing in the sandbox...

pretty fun!!

Some how I just don't get tired of taking pictures of Sylvia... She is so fun!

little sleeping beauty

listening to Daddy read.... :)

Card Towers.

For the past couple of weeks Noah has been working on card towers... this card tower took him a couple of days...

it is pretty impressive!

We didn't have enough playing cards, so he started using old business cards

Noah decided that he wanted to build a different card tower, I think he said he was going to make the Capitol. So, he broke the old one down! :)

lots of patience...

little Ava.

On Friday Hannah had her last day of nannying little Ava... Hannah, Eli and Joel all started working at a business called Ratech.

Hannah misses taking care of Ava, but is enjoying her new work!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter Celebration! We went to church and then had family here for the day. It was a beautiful day!

After dinner, we went out and flew kites and played ultimate frisbee...

It was fun to see all of the cousins!

Hannah made a very tasty lemon cake for Aunt Janice's birthday! :)

"He is not here; he has risen!". We are so blessed to have such a wonderful savior!

Easter Eggs!

This afternoon we dyed Easter eggs...

It was such a beautiful day that we sat out on the patio and dyed them. Everyone had lots of fun, Asher and Sylvia especially.

This year we tried putting rubber bands around them and getting different colored stripes. :D

Twinkle Twinkle

video
Last Saturday I woke up to Asher teaching Sylvia how to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It was a pretty cute thing to wake up to. Sylvia would sing "twinkle twinkle itto staw how I wondow what you awe" and then Asher would correct her saying "no, say twinkle twinkle little staw how I wondow what you awe" (neither of them can say their r's very well). Anyways I was sad to have missed it on camera, but I did get Sylvia singing it to me before she figured out what my video camera actually does!

(for you, Nathan) ;)

Aaron came home... for a couple of days.

Last week Aaron came home for a couple of days...

We all went and tried out the remote control boat that Aaron and Jennifer gave Seth for Christmas... it was pretty impressive. We could not get the boat out of range of Seth's remote.

Everyone had fun playing around at the park...

watching the boat...

Everything is still really muddy and we still are getting snow here and there, but I am certain that spring will come one of these days...

Bedtime story with Aaron.

Aaron had to take Asher rock climbing while he was home... Asher asks all the time to go climbing with him.

It was fun to have Aaron home! Next time we want Jennifer too! Abram, you need to come home too!

Spring Recital

Last weekend Hannah had her spring recital for her 8 students and Mom's 4 piano students. It was a very nice turn out. Hannah rented a very neat place for the occasion- the Train Depot which is a historic building across the river that is very pretty.

These are all of Hannah's students. 4 violin and 4 piano (one of the student takes both...just so you don't think I can't count as well as not being able to spell) lol

These are 4 of Mom's piano students... they all played very well! :D

Seth played How Beautiful... beautifully.

Noah played A Mighty Fortress is Our God.... very nicely!

(this is Talia practicing before the recital) she played Since Jesus came into my Heart... very sweetly.

and Behn played Skip to my Lou... it was very fun!

These are Hannah's first two students... they are both becoming very good...

They had a couple of fun duets! :D

It was a nice evening Hannah did a great job planning it all!
